Indian Mound Ranch is a quaint home that sits up on a bluff overlooking the beautiful spring fed Mill Creek in an area once inhabited by Indians centuries ago. Sitting on about 25 acres which is a wildlife management property, you will have privacy except for the deer, turkeys, and many other native animals which frequent the area. With all the native animals and the cool waters of Mill Creek it is a great location to stay just as it was long ago for the Indians. Located just East of Vanderpool, it is within 5 minutes of FoxFire Cabins.
The Ranch house itself is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. One bedroom has a king bed, while one has a queen bed and the 3rd has 2 twin beds. Along with the sleeper sofa in the living room, it will sleep up to 8 guests. One bathroom has a shower, while the other has a shower/tub combination. It also has a full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, washer/dryer, charcoal BBQ Pit, campfire ring, and a TV for watching DVDs on – no satellite or cable though. The Indian Mound Ranch also allows pets, but does not have a fenced yard.
With its privacy, abundant wildlife, and refreshing waters of Cypress lined Mill Creek, the Indian Mound Ranch has a lot to offer. You may even find a piece of history as there are still remains of arrowheads and other artifacts from years ago!
