Directions from Houston to Foxfire
Take I-10 West out of Houston to San Antonio. In San Antonio
take the Hwy 90 west exit toward Del Rio. (You actually just
stay on the Freeway through San Antonio & it turns into
Hwy 90). Go approximately 60 miles on Hwy 90 to the town of
Sabinal.
In Sabinal, turn right onto FM 187. Stay on FM 187 & go
through the towns of Utopia (22 miles from Sabinal) & Vanderpool
(10 miles north of Utopia). We are 4 miles past Vanderpool
on the left side of the road. You will see our
sign FoxFire Cabins on your
left. Turn in and follow the signs to the office. Should you
reach Lost Maples Park you passed us by 1 mile.
Directions from Austin to FoxFire Cabins
Take
290 West to Fredericksburg. In Fredericksburg, turn left on Hwy 16 to Kerrville. In Kerrville, pass under Interstate
10 & take
loop 534 to your left. It goes around Kerrville and intersects
with Hwy 173
on the opposite end of town. Turn left on 173 toward Bandera.
Go about 15 miles & you will see Farm to Market Road 2828
on your right. Turn Right and go about 9 miles. It will intersect
with HWY 16. Turn right onto Hwy 16. Its 2 miles into Medina
where you will turn left on Hwy 337. 20 miles later 337 intersects
with Hwy 187. Turn right onto 187. Go 4 miles. You will see our
sign FoxFire Cabins on your
left. Turn in and follow the signs to the office.
Directions from San Antonio to Foxfire
Via Hwy 90 West
In San Antonio take the Hwy 90 west toward Del Rio. In the town
of Sabinal (approximately 60 miles west of S.A.), turn right
onto FM 187 at the only stop light in town. Go through the towns
of Utopia (approx. 22 miles from Sabinal) & Vanderpool (approx.
another 10 miles) staying on FM 187. We are 4 miles past Vanderpool
on the left side of the FM 187. You will see our
sign FoxFire Cabins on your
left. Turn in and follow the signs to the office. Should you
reach Lost Maples Park you passed us by 1 mile.
Via
Hwy 16 & Bandera
In San Antonio, take Hwy 16 (Bandera Rd.) through Helotes and
out to Bandera. Go through Bandera staying on Hwy 16 to the
town of Medina. In Medina, take a left on Hwy 337 and go approximately
20 miles to Vanderpool. In Vanderpool, take a right on Hwy
187. We are 4 miles North of Vanderpool on the left side of
the FM 187. You will see our
sign FoxFire Cabins on your
left. Turn in and follow the signs to the office. Should you
reach Lost Maples Park you passed us by 1 mile. |
